Cristina is 19 years old and just now entering the family business. She is the 6th generation of Garcías to make mezcal, and the first female in the family to do so. This is her first expression, a tepeztate and it is gorgeous: it smells like you just walked into the florist shop--roses on the nose, and no flaws that we can detect, just a fantastic tepeztate. Skill like this can only come from an upbringing at the palenque!
